14.12.07 GBO wins Out of the Box competition!
In a team effort together with Bandridge and Nelipak, GBO won the 2007 “Out of the Box” packaging competition which was organized by the Netherlands Packaging Centre and iD-L in a series of workshops.
Competing against 5 other interdisciplinary groups, the team’s main goal was to consider and respect all aspects of cable packaging such as production, assembly, logistics & transport, presentation & retail and recycling. The result is a reel-like package which minimizes manual labour, speeds up the packaging process and reduces complexity and ecological impact after purchase. Up.
