16.03.09 Red Dot Award for GBO!

GBO has received a prestigious Red Dot Award for the Vario cupholder from Haval! GBO’s approach to a new cupholder resulted in a simple yet all the more innovative and functional solution. The flowing lines and ergonomic shape of the cupholder create a powerful symbiosis between function and aesthetics.

Innovation gets rewarded, this also goes for Niko. This company earned a Red Dot Award for Mysterious. GBO cooperated with Niko on detailling the product through to developing parts for mass production.

With Mysterious Niko initiated rethinking the conventional idea of switches. It’s the first invisible switch range which can be seamlessly integrated. Merely a discrete round light remains visible after mounting.
A soft white glow is emitted in the dark from a LED placed behind the switch. Just like a chameleon it blends into its surrounding environment. It can be painted, clad with wallpaper or just as easily be integrated into a wooden or marble work surface. Niko’s ‘out-of-the-box’ thinking has been internationally acknowledged. The fact that Mysterious won a Red Dot Award 2009 is the ultimate proof for Niko that innovation pays off. More information at www.mysterious.be. Up.
